The PRTA has now fully recovered from a difficult situation, mainly due to losing four committee members through illness, death and moving away. As they included signatories to the bank accounts, these were then suspended. A computer crash meant loss of many membership records.

“However, we are now back to normal, ”said a spokesperson. “As the PRTA is in a healthy financial position, we have decided to offer free membership for 2016 to everyone, previous members or not.

“Members receive free newsletters, Pembrokeshire-based timetables (the current issue includes alterations caused by the Severn Tunnel six-week closure), and fares information.”
