At the recent PPSC meeting, local Christians of various denominations came together in the Augustus Place Community Centre, Tenby.

During the evening there were updates on Sohail's work in Pakistan, including mention of nine prisoners who had graduated the first stage of a Bible course PPSC have helped to fund. Rev. Peter Richmond reminded people to keep praying for the New Life Church in Belarus, whose future is still uncertain.

Prayers for North Korea and Burma were accompanied by case studies, slides and short videos from Release International. Coinciding with an international appeal, letters were signed on behalf of a man who is sentenced to death in North Korea; his crime - being a Christian.

Everyone who attended was also given a bottle of 'One Water.' All profits from the sale of this Welsh spring water go to making 'playpumps' in Africa. There clean water is pumped from newly established wells utilising the movement of roundabouts as the children play. This saves villagers from having to walk a distance of maybe five miles with heavy water containers several times a day.

If you think this is a good idea, why not ask your local supermarket if they stock One Water? For more details, see their website http://www.onewater.org.uk">www.onewater.org.uk
