Pembrokeshire's Irish dancers are reeling with success after claiming five Great Britain regional titles
They are amongst 27 youngsters from the Tenby-based Seren School of Irish Dancing who have qualified to cross the Irish Sea in April to compete at the CRN Irish Open Championships in Dublin.
Shannon Robins (Under 15 Maengrad), Kira Hardy (Under 17 Maengrad), Caitlin Rawlins (Under 9 Bungrad), Emily Dilks (Under 10 Bungrad) and Kiera Slack (Under 12 Bungrad) won their Great Britain awards at the CRN regional championships at the Aberavon Beach Hotel, Port Talbot.
Their teacher, Cheryl John, is thrilled at their achievements.
"I am very, very proud of my dancers," she said. "They have all worked so hard over the last few months and it will be wonderful to be able to take so many across to Ireland for the Irish Open."
There was also a great win at the regional contest for the Seren School's Under 9 ceilidh team of Caitlin Rawlins, Megan Smith, Evie Griffiths, Harmoni Howell, Alanya Thomas and Caitlin Protheroe.
Cheryl teaches over 70 youngsters aged from four upwards in Tenby Leisure Centre every Sunday, and is assisted by two of her senior dancers - her sister Lizzie John and Shannon Robins.
The dancers will be showing their skills to parents and friends tonight (Friday) before enjoying their Christmas party.
Seren School of Irish Dancing classes resume after the Christmas break on January 9, and anyone interested in becoming a pupil can contact Cheryl on 07966 579501.
