Did you know that Pembrokeshire Libraries offer a Library at Home service across the county?
The service caters for people who are not able to visit the branch libraries or village stops for the mobile library, for health, mobility, and other reasons - including carers who are unable to leave home except for essential matters.
A wide range of books are available to choose from, including large print, crime, family sagas, general fiction, general non-fiction and books in the Welsh language. Talking books are also available.
The customer’s choices are delivered to their door once a month by the driver of the council’s mobile library, and are tailored to their needs as far as possible.
Anyone interested is asked to fill in a simple application form, and return it to the library service, who will assess whether or not the applicant is eligible to receive the service.
• If you’re interested in the Library at Home service, or if you think it may be suitable for a relative or friend, please contact George Edwards on (01437) 776126 or email [email protected]
