Pembrokeshire Junior Netball League held their annual tournament at Pembroke Leisure Centre recently and had a fantastic day, with over 75 players attending from clubs across the county.

Players from Fishguard, Narberth, Milford, Pembroke and Chaos (Haverfordwest) played in mixed teams, creating a great atmosphere, with some excellent netball being played.

There was fantastic support from family and friends, making a really successful and enjoyable day.

During the inter-club league matches throughout the season, players nominate a player of the match from the opposing team.

The player with the most votes at the end of the season is awarded the 'Players' Player' shield.

This year, these were won by Niamh Roach (Chaos) for the Under 11s, jointly by Jessica Davies (Chaos) and Sara Cox (Pembroke) for Under 14s and Shania Hughes (Narberth) for the Under 16s (kindly donated for this new age-group by Mr. Omnet, of Pembroke).

Congratulations were also passed to Shania Hughes, Hannah Davies, Hannah Williams, Kirsty Harry and Polly Scotcher for their recent selection to the Welsh 'hub'.
