On Monday, the Pembrokeshire County cricket team, officials and supporters left Fishguard for a three-match cricket tour in Ireland. The team's fixtures were against Railway Union (Dublin), North Whitlow (Dublin area) and against their namesakes from Pembroke County, in a match which was due to be played on their way back to Rosslare Harbour yesterday. The tour was made possible by the generous support received from Stena Line, particularly with the travel arrangements. The photograph shows the tour party looking resplendent in their new tee-shirts and jackets prior to boarding the Stena Europe on their way to Rosslare Harbour, with Carl Milne, route marketing manager of Stena Line at Fishguard.
