Pembrokeshire County Council will soon choose a new Leader - with three nominees in the running.

The Local Authority will have a new Leader following the Annual General Meeting of Council which will be held on Friday, May 15.

The Leader of Council is elected every two years under the County Council’s constitution.

The current Leader, Cllr Jon Harvey, has decided not to stand for re-election.

The following nominations for Leader have been received:

Cllr Di Clements (Leader of the Conservative Group and County Councillor for the ward of Martletwy); Cllr Tessa Hodgson (Cabinet member for social care at PCC and ward member for Lamphey); and Cllr Anji Tinley (Independent Group Leader and county councillor for the ward of Haverfordwest: Garth).
