Police in Pembrokeshire are appealing for information after an arson attack destroyed a derelict property.

Local officers are investigating an arson that occurred in Snowdrop Line, Haverfordwest at around 11.30pm on Monday, April 27.

As a result, a two-storey, derelict property was destroyed.

A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are now appealing for anyone with information, ring doorbell or CCTV footage, that could help them with our investigation.

“Police presence will continue today on the street, to undertaking door-to-door crime enquires.”

A spokesperson for Mid & West Wales Fire & Rescue Service said: “At 11.19pm on Monday, April 27, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Haverfordwest and Milford Haven Fire Stations were called to an incident at Snowdrop Lane in Haverfordwest.

“The crews responded to a fire involving a two-storey, derelict property. Crews utilised 45mm jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A turntable ladder appliance was used as a water tower and crews were supported by the attendance of a water bowser appliance.

“The building was destroyed by the fire. Following re-inspections, crews left the scene at 2.03am on Tuesday, April 28.”
