The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority has put a plea out after one of its beach wheelchairs available for hire was taken from a cafe in Tenby during the school holidays.

Sharing a post on social media, PCNPA stated: “One of our vital beach wheelchairs was taken from Dennis Café, Tenby on Sunday, July 27 and has not been returned.

“This free service allows over 500 beach trips a year for people who otherwise couldn’t enjoy the sand and sea. Without this chair, those precious moments are at risk.

“Have you seen a beach wheelchair somewhere it shouldn’t be? Have any information? Please contact us urgently.

“Let’s get it back where it belongs and keep the beach accessible for all,” they added.
