As part of ‘Wales Week’ - two award winning Pembrokeshire drinks companies were invited to showcase their products at a Government event in London.

‘Barti Spiced’ is a seaweed spiced rum, produced by Jonathan Williams, seaweed fanatic and founder of the coastal street food kitchen ‘The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company’.

The spirit is a blend of Caribbean rum and spices, infused with laver seaweed hand-picked from the Pembrokeshire coast.

‘Still Wild’ is based in Cresselly and produces the first ever Welsh Vermouths, with nearly all the botanicals being foraged locally from Pembrokeshire hedgerows.

At the great taste awards it recently was the highest ranked UK vermouth, and third highest globally.

The ‘Taste of Wales’ event was held in the historic Lancaster House, with ten food and drink producers picked from across Wales.

With a diverse range of guests from ambassadors to celebrity chefs, the event celebrated some of the best of food and drink that Wales has to offer.
