Pembroke is probably most famous for its castle, but has many other more hidden gems on the Mill Ponds, the Main Street, the Commons, the Pembroke River or the surrounding countryside. So why not get creative and capture your own hidden gem in and around Pembroke by taking part in an art competition as part of the Pembroke Festival activities. Sponsored by National Grid, the competition will take place on Sunday, September 3, from 10 am - 4 pm, with judging from 5 pm. All art work will need to be completed on the day and there are categories and prizes for all age groups. There is an entry fee which will include paper and art board. For an entry form and full details of the competition and all Pembroke Festival events, contact the Eastgate Centre, tel: 01646 680090, or email: [email protected]">[email protected]
