Pembroke Town Hall was the place to be recently when 80 of the town's 'more mature' residents enjoyed a Christmas dinner and carol service organised by the town's Young at Heart Club.

Following carol singing, led on guitar by the vicar of Monkton, Rev. Paul Nash, diners enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by hard-working committee members and served by the immaculate Warrior Sea Cadets.

Amongst the guests were the Mayor and Mayoress of Pembroke, Clr. Aden Brinn and Ms. Halyna Davies, and County Councillor and Mrs. David Wildman (cabinet member for the elderly).

First prize in the raffle was a super electric blanket donated by the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
