Fish and Chips and Twmpath raise over £800 for RNLI On Friday, Mrs. Brown's delicious fish and chips were enjoyed by 100 guests, the only part of the evening for which they were seated! Mr. Hugh Davies, the caller of the 'Un Yn Ormod' band, St. Clears, enthusiastically encouraged everyone to take part in the dancing. Requests have since been made for another evening such as this, which Pembroke Ladies Lifeboat Guild hope to do. Thank you all. Watch this space for another unique evening like this! Hotelier runs Bath Half Marathon for RNLI Beach Rescue teams
Mr. Norman Edwards, of The Old Kings Arms Hotel, Pembroke, on March 16, ran the annual Bath Charity Half Marathon to raise money for the RNLI Beach Rescue teams. He completed the marathon in one hour 43 minutes, a personal best for Norman! Over 15,000 brave runners completed the 13.1 miles in appalling conditions last Sunday, raising money for several charities. Mr. Edwards personally raised over £300 through sponsorship and charity wristbands which were sold in the hotel.
