President Monica Vanner welcomed Linda Fegan, of The Dog's Trust Charity, to the September meeting at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel.

Linda's well-behaved rescued King Charles spaniel accompanied her. A true example of the charity's aims.

Linda spoke of the incredible work of The Dog's Trust, her charity rescuing vulnerable dogs of all breeds and ages. Fundraising has to be non-stop to continue this good work.

The Dog's Trust also has a home for aged dogs and usually re-home an animal within four - six weeks. The charity, known globally, also has demand from new homes overseas.

All we dog lovers were inspired to know that there are such good outcomes for dogs by such dedicated people, many volunteering.
