VICTORY FOR JUNIORS
Pembroke Ladies Hockey Club are pleased to announce that the Principality Building Society have kindly sponsored their junior team for new shirts and socks. Many thanks go to the Principality for their support. The team will be presented with their new shirts later this month.
The juniors travelled to Crymych on a bitterly cold night to play their latest fixture in the Pembrokeshire Junior League.
Crymych started the brighter of the two teams, making the Pembroke defence work extremely hard, with Anna Morgan in the goal having to make several important saves, but eventually this pressure told, with the home team going into the break with a one goal lead.
The second half saw a different Pembroke team take the field! A greater determination and self-belief within this very young side saw Crymych under pressure, which resulted in Beth Machin levelling the scores.
This seemed to take the wind out of Crymych sails and inspired the Pembroke team, who continued to press the Crymych goal.
This pressure resulted in Pembroke securing victory when Hannah Thomas slotted home the winner.

Pembroke Ladies resumed training on Tuesday at the Astroturf, Tenby. The juniors meet from 6 to 7 pm and the ladies from 7 to 8 pm. All new members welcome!
