There was a real buzz in Pembroke Dock on Saturday when the magnificent Dockyard Chapel hosted the launch of the town's digital heritage project.

People turned out in great numbers for the occasion, which included the viewing of a specially created video showing how the dockyard looked in 1860.

Also on view was a fascinating exhibition entitled 'Pembroke Dock Uncovered', highlighting aspects of the history of the town that the Bicentenary project team had found while doing its research.

Pictured at the event are Stephan Davies, of De Montfort University (who designed the video animation), Digital Heritage Building Project team members Sian Dureau, and Adrian James, and Dr. Madeline Havard, of the Heritage Lottery Fund.
