Congratulations to Gwen Gilson, a resident at Belvedere Residential Home in Tenby, who celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday.
Gwen was joined by her daughter Barbara Davies, granddaughter Sian Finch and great-grandchildren Cerys and Gavin, who came down from Cheshire to help celebrate the special occasion.
A native of Cwmbran, Gwen, who has lived in Tenby since the early '70s, having resided in Harries Street, enjoyed a special party at the care home on Tuesday and also a further party on the day of her birthday at Deer Park Baptist Church, organised by Bronwen Knott, where her grandchildren got to demonstrate their musical talents by performing on the flugelhorn and trombone.
