Tenby's first Party by the Beach of the summer proved a great success on Sunday, with plenty of fun and fund-raising for all to enjoy. Held at Tenby Harbour, the event, formerly known as the Summer Spectacular, drew in crowds of locals and visitors to the seaside resort from 3 pm onwards. Members of Tenby Round Table will be delighted that their charity event remains a popular fixture on the summer calendar for tourists and residents alike, as the entertainment continued long into the night, with plenty in attendance to soak up the party atmosphere and enjoy the finale of the dazzling fireworks display. All money raised from the annual event is donated to local charities and organisations for the benefit of the local community. Any local charities that wish to join in the fun and raise funds for themselves by having their own stall at the second Party by the Beach to be held on Sunday, August 3, are asked to contact Tenby Round Table chairman Ray Davies for further information.
