Dyfed Powys Police will be carrying out a training day at Oakwood Park, Canaston Bridge, Narberth, on Friday, August 18. Historically, police training has been carried out in private at training centres. This has now changed and the new programme seeks to fully engage the police service with communities that are served and where officers will eventually police.
The exercise will involve student police officers undertaking a number of practical exercises in full view of the public during the park's normal opening hours.
The role actors are members of the community who have agreed to assist the police with this initiative.
