Today (Friday) is M for Move day for the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.
Over a four-day period the authority is moving its headquarters lock, stock and computer to Llanion Park, Pembroke Dock, re-opening at the new location on Tuesday April 20.
This will be only the third move in the authority's 52-year history, and for the last half century the Park HQ has been at Winch Lane, Haverfordwest.
Built exactly 100 years ago, the new headquarters was originally the officers' mess of the resident Army garrison at Pembroke Dock. In recent years it became the main offices of South Pembrokeshire District Council and then an area office for Pembrokeshire County Council.
The National Park Authority, which owns the building, has carried out extensive renovations and refurbishment and has used 'green' technology in the conversion to modern office accommodation.
The Winch Lane, Haverfordwest, offices finally closed at 5 pm yesterday (Thursday).
However, members of the public wishing to view planning application information in advance of the development control committee (on April 21) will be able to do so at Winch Lane today (Friday) or alternatively at Llanion Park on Monday. The co-operation of the public on this is appreciated.
All National Park meetings including the development control committee will be held at Llanion from April 21.
The authority's new address will be: Llanion Park, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6DY, tel. 0845 345 7275; Fax 01646 689076. The e-mail and website addresses remain the same:
