The Tenby and District Lions are hosting the final major charity event of the 2012 summer season at Tenby Harbour this Bank Holiday Sunday, August 25, when they host their popular annual Paella Festival, from 3-10 pm.

A big feature of this stupendous music and food event is the culinary delight that is Britain's biggest paella dish, cooked and prepared on-site to a traditional and classic Spanish recipe, as well as more traditional food stands, a licensed bar, and various other small trade stands.

The music side of this event, which commences at 3 pm, will also encompass a unique and specialised 90-minute section of specially-tailored entertainment geared up to young families and children, from 5-6.30 pm, and whilst the whole event is pure family fun, this section is a must for the young and not-so-young, but young-at-heart.

There will be continuous live entertainment on-stage from 3-10 pm, with free admission for all, but the Lions ask for your generosity and appreciation with the bucket collections. Through the generosity of the people who attend this event, the Lions will be able to support many worthy causes throughout the year.

From 3 pm, there will be a DJ/compere between acts throughout the day playing chart and popular music, plus walkabout fire eaters and jugglers after 6 pm to add to the atmosphere and fun.

The entertainment line-up is as follows: 3 pm - Megan Tapper, upbeat pop, soul and  rock female vocalist; 4 pm - Paul Reggie, talented solo acoustic guitar vocalist performing a varied set of classic songs from the last four decades; 5-6.30 pm - a 90-minute extravaganza of varied entertainment fun for all children and families, including 5-5.20 pm - Claudio with the golf tricks show that leaves even Tiger Woods mesmerised, 5.20-5.45 pm - Fergie and Steve with party dances, music and games with prizes, 5.45-6.10 pm - Matt the Magic Man with magical fun and amazement for all the family, 6.10-6.30 pm - Punch and Judy Show, unique and traditional classic seaside fun; 6.30 pm - Sam Skyrme, female vocalist with a stunning voice; 7 pm - Nick Thomas, versatile vocal guitarist; 8 pm - West Coast Blues Band, feel-good rock and blues; 9 pm - Elephant Gerald, four-piece rock  band performing classic covers; 10 pm - a big thank you to you all for supporting Tenby and District Lions at their major fundraising paella festival.
