Tavernspite Playgroup will be holding an Open Day on Friday, February 12, from 9.30 am - 12 noon.

This is in order for new parents or prospective parents and children to go along to a morning session to meet the staff, get involved in the morning activities and meet some of the other parents.

“This is a great opportunity to introduce yourself and see how the playgroup runs for yourselves,” said a spokesperson. “Tavernspite Playgroup is a registered charity and therefore it is very important that we continue to fundraise and promote the playgroup to keep it running.

“We have a fantastic team and the children are encouraged to learn, play, interact, be creative and enjoy outside play. Each term they focus on a topic and learn in a fun and exciting environment with wonderful and enthusiastic staff.

“We welcome all children from the age of two years six months, offer wrap around care with Tavernspite School and ensure the playgroup is well equipped in respect of learning and play equipment for all ages.

“If you have a young child, are interested in seeing how and what happens for our youngsters during their morning at playgroup please feel free to come along.”
