Sir,
We were so very sorry to read of Arthur Ormond's death.
He was unique, we agree.
My younger son, Charles had the benefit of working with the team when he was about 16/17, about 16/17 years ago for a month while he stayed at our flat in Paragon Court for work experience. It was wonderful.
Eventually he became a teacher and is head of RE and Philosophy at Hymes College, Hull. He was so thrilled to work with you all and gave him insight into 'life'.
Our receptionist in our solicitors' office in 1975 who sadly died last year too was in the same form as Mr. Ormond in Tenby. They were a good lot I think.
I am still homesick for Carmarthen and Tenby having been born in the former and holidayed in the latter all my life.
Thank you so so much for always sending the Tenby Observer.
Susan Gaynor-Smith,
