The death occurred peacefully at Withybush Hospital on Sunday, of Mrs. Shirley Anne Jones, who lived in Scandinavia Heights, Saundersfoot.
Aged 77, Shirley will be sadly missed by her husband Frank and family.

Lady Alice Florence Mountbatten, formerly Alice Handscomb, née Alice Westacott, peacefully passed away on Wednesday.
Her legendary laughter and joie de vie, sadly dulled in recent years due to poor health, will carry on in her four children, six grandchildren and before long, one great grandchild (due March 2016).
The funeral and remembrance service will be held at Narberth Crematorium next week.

The funeral took place on Friday at Monkton Priory Church, followed by cremation at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, of Edward Arthur Llewellyn Roberts (Teddy), aged 88, who passed away peacefully on January 31 at Hollyland Lodge Residential Care Home, Pembroke.
Teddy was predeceased by his wife Rubery (Ruby) Nadine Roberts in April 2008.
Teddy was born in 1927 at Angle Police Station and was the second youngest of nine siblings.
He left school at 14 and took his first job at the knackers yard, Cosheston. Upon entering National Service, his butchering skills enabled him to serve in the Army Catering Corps.
On leaving National Service, he continued butchery with Roach Carew (Tenby), Eastmans and Dewhursts. In 1959, he opened his own business with the support of two brothers at 33 Monkton. Within a short while, he was on his own. He met and married Ruby in 1962, with their son Gareth being born in 1963.
In 1966, the family moved from Cosheston and E. A Roberts and Son continued from 37 Monkton, until their joint retirement in 1987. Their lives were enriched with their passion for the church - taking part in many activities and enjoying many foreign vacations with the church group and friends.
Teddy’s life was fulfilled with birth of his two granddaughters, Jessica in 1989 and Bethan in 1992.
Following Ruby’s death in 2008, he continued his enjoyment in church activities with family and friends.
Teddy leaves to mourn: Gareth and Sara (son and daughter-in-law), Jessica and Bethan (granddaughters), Lee Gilpin and Craig Kidney (granddaughers’ partners), numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and many friends.
Bearers were: Roy Roberts, Desmond Roberts, Richard Roberts, Vincent Davies, Ken Davies, Tommy Roberts (nephews), Lee Gilpin and Craig Kidney.

Wiseman’s Bridge
Mr. Anthony Charles Salter, of Green Acre, Wiseman’s Bridge, passed away on January 18, at Glangwili General Hospital, Carmarthen. He was 74.
A native of Hurst Green, West Midlands, he began his working life training to be an engine driver, but was advised by a foreman that diesel trains were taking over. He was a coal delivery man for a short while. He then went into transport and heavy goods, driving large articulated lorries until he retired.
When he was younger, he enjoyed river fishing, then tried his hand at sea fishing and also from the beach. He had a small dingy and later a bigger boat which gave him pleasure. He also enjoyed walking the beaches and cliff paths for hours.
Family left to mourn: wife Pamela; daughters Helen and husband Terance, Linda and partner Jon, Angela and husband Kevin; grandchildren Justine, Simon, Joshua, Nathan, Rebecca, Leanne, Daniel, Liam, Kirsty, Ellie and Molly; great-grandchildren Isla, Jake, Lucas, Morgan, Tyle, Chloe, Callum and Amy; sister Margaret and respective families, Peter, Diana, John, Jacqueline, Joyce and John.
The funeral service took place on January 27 at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth. Rev. Marianne Osborne officiated.
Bearers were sons-in-laws, Terance, Kevin, John, grandsons Josh, Simon and Nathan.

Beloved wife of the late Lewis, dearly-loved mum of Barrie, Bryan and Bernie, respected mother-in-law to Marie, Kay and Bev, treasured gran and great-granny.

The death occurred suddenly, but peacefully at his home on Saturday, February 6, of Mr. Jason McDonald, of Military Road, Pennar, Pembroke Dock. He was 40.

The death occurred suddenly, but peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 14, of retired assistant harbourmaster Mr. Bruce Charles Smith, of Cosheston. He was 68.
