Tenby and Saundersfoot Rural and District committee of NSPCC held another successful community show recently, raising £800 for the charity.

The show held at Greenhill School in Tenby on January 23 started with St. Florence School Choir performing, followed by the other great artistes involved.

The night came to a fitting end with 'Evening Colours' from Tenby Sea Cadets.

"This is an amateur show, showcasing some of the great local talent we have here in our community and giving their time to support NSPCC Wales - Pembrokeshire Branch," said Meryl Sharp of the committee.

The committee would like to thank their sponsors - Birt and Co; Sainsbury's; TP Hughes; Yorkshire Building Society, with their support meaning extra monies can go to the charity.

Big thanks also go to local artistes - St. Florence School; Lewis Lewis Solicitors; Dylan Price and Sophie; Georgia Allen; Saundersfoot Youth; Tenby Fire Brigade; Ritchie and Arlene (Ella Guru); and Tenby Sea Cadets.

Sound and lighting thanks go to David, Jamie, Dylan and Jake, and to Rev. Marianne Osborne, of St. Issell's Church, for taking the role of compère on the night and keeping the audience informed and amused.

Raffle prizes were kindly donated by Heatherton Park; Wisemans Bridge Inn; Celtic Haven; NSPCC Committee and Celtic Wines.

Further thanks go to Greenhill School for the hall and catering facilities once again.

The committee would like to apologise unreservedly for the printing errors on the programmes which had been delivered on the day of the show.
