Celebrate those who make a difference in Narberth by nominating them for the 2026 Narberth Person of the Year Award.

Do you know someone who makes a real difference in our community? Narberth Town Council is inviting nominations for the ‘Narberth Person of the Year Award 2026’.

“The award recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to community life in Narberth through voluntary service, community spirit, fundraising, support for local organisations, helping others, or simply going above and beyond to make our town a better place,” Narberth Town Council shared.

“If you know someone deserving of this recognition, we would love to hear from you.

“Please submit your nomination in writing, including the name of your nominee and a brief explanation of why you believe they should be considered for the award.”

Nominations close at 5pm on Friday, June 26.

Following the close of nominations, Town Councillors will consider all submissions and select the recipient.

The Narberth Person of the Year 2026 Award will then be presented by the Mayor of Narberth Cllr. Elizabeth Rogers, at the Mayor's Civic Lunch to be held on Sunday, July 19.

The Narberth Person of the Year 2025 was awarded to Chris Walters, recognized for his dedicated volunteer work in the town, particularly with Swim Narberth and Narberth Civic Week, as well as for stepping up to help support the Council during a transitional period.
