The annual sale of Christmas cards in the porch of St. Mary's Church, Tenby, raised a record £420 this year. The money will help starving families in the developing world.
Rev. Michael John, chairman of the town's Christian Aid committee, said: "It's great of Tenby people and our visitors to want to help this important cause.
"Some of the money was from donations, without buying cards. So, despite the credit crunch, it seems that local people still want to give generously."
