Tenby Town Council have received correspondence from land surveyors, Savills, on behalf of mobile telecommunications company O2, with a request that they reconsider a recent application to site a mast in the town.
The company want to site a 20 cm diameter pole on the roof of the Royal Lion Hotel. They require the new base to provide better coverage for the area.
When discussing the proposal at Tuesday night's meeting of the council, however, members agreed to stick by their original recommendation that the application should be refused.
