Ninety runners participated in the annual St. Clears 10Km race. The Mayor started the race and presented the trophies.

Winner, in a time of 34 minutes 44 seconds, was Andrew Abbott from Sarn Helen.

Thirteen TROTs ran. Roger Coombs was ninth, Ann Thomas was 15th and was the first female to finish, Jon Payne was 22nd, Mary Bowen Rees was 25th and was the second female to finish, Claire Clethero was 27th and won the open female category.

Ian Morris was 28th and Cyril Walters 33rd. Martin Davies was 39th, Helen Williams 56th, Ann Rowell 69th, Rowena Melbourne 77th. Pauline Thomas was 82nd and won the first female over 55 years old. Ron Morgan was 88th.

This race was kindly sponsored by Castell Howell and Tom and Jeanette Holliday and results were collated by Computer Services Agency.

The day before the St. Clears race was the Beca Fell Race. Seven TROTs successfully completed it. Carwyn Phillips was fifth, Dewi Jones 28th, Jim Cooper 38th, Penny Rees 52nd, Mike Hodges 53rd, Lon Morgan 55th and Tessa Cooper 78th.

Thirteen TROTs participated in the annual sponsored run/walk from Pendine to Saundersfoot. This year the money raised will be donated to Air Ambulance.
