To help to continue washing NHS uniforms for free for local frontline workers, White Knight Dry Cleaners in Tenby have given their thanks to local firms and individuals for donations.

Earlier this month, the business located on Lower Park Road offered to wash, dry and iron NHS staff uniforms free of charge for locals, with kind donations of washing powder and fabric softener forthcoming locally.

“We were initially approached for some advise on washing of the NHS uniforms by a few nurses that are self isolating in properties in Tenby, so we decided to help by providing a free service,” explained Ryan and Jane Prince of White Knight.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our local community who have come forward with donations.

“We have had several nurses bring their uniforms in already,” they added.

Thanks for donations have already gone out to the Co-op store in Tenby, Woodlands Guest House in Saundersfoot, Jim and Gwlithyn Stephens of Saundersfoot, and Tenby town councillor Dai Morgan.
