The choir held its annual general meeting at the Athletic Club on Wednesday, August 29, when Carol Scale handed over the reins to Trisha Campodonic and welcomed her in her new role as chairlady. Joan Leckie will continue as choir secretary and Yvonne Byrant and Sheila Griffiths will remain joint treasurers.

Musical director, Lynne Kelleher thanked everyone on behalf of herself and accompanist Peter Griffiths for their commitment through the year and reminded the ladies that there was a great deal of hard work needed in readiness for the 35th anniversary concert in the Torch Theatre on November 2.

Choir rehearsals resumed this week and the ladies meet every Wednesday evening at the College in St. Clements Road at 7 pm.
