Dydd Ewyllys Da or Goodwill Message Day was celebrated by Year 7 pupils and various other students and staff in a special assembly this week. A number of students took part delivering a message to remind us that the way we treat the world today will determine the type of world we live in tomorrow. The message was read in 11 different languages and offered an opportunity to celebrate the linguistic talents represented at Ysgol Greenhill. Diolch yn fawr I chi gyd. The Goodwill Message is actually 86-years-old, and since 1922, it has been the inspiration behind the good citizenship and international activities of the Urdd. YEAR 11 CELEBRATION DAY 2008
Last Tuesday, May 13, saw the last day of compulsory education for Year 11 students. A celebration was held at the De Valance, Tenby, for students, parents, staff and friends to see pupils presented with certificates and class photographs by Mr. Peter Griffiths, chief executive of the Principality in Wales. Entertainment was provided by the students, Elliot Doney, Alex Thomas, George Poole, Lucy Morris, Gemma Amos, Sophie Arthur, Rebecca Andrews, Cherie Morgan and Alice Christopher.
