Year 12 students Wayne Ormond and Ben Craig will be taking to the skies on Saturday, July 14, at Pembrey Airfield as they perform a parachute jump in aid of the Meningitis Trust. Both students need to raise a basic sum before they can jump, and all proceeds will go to this very worthwhile cause.

If you would like to sponsor these two brave students, please contact them via the school (tel: 01834 840100).

QUIZ

Question: What's happening in the library at lunchtime today?

Answer: The 'Middle of May Quiz'.

Quiz buffs will meet in the library today (Friday) at lunchtime to pit their wits against the quizmaster in the 'Middle of May Quiz'. Twenty questions ranging from history to Harry Potter, geography to geometry, will be set to teams of no more than four students, and prizes will be available to the winners. The quiz will begin at 1.40 pm, so if you fancy your chances, come along to the library to answer the questions.

LIBRARY TICKETS

This is a notice to all students in Year 11 who may need to use the library at lunchtimes, but are unable to collect the library tickets at break. If you need to use the library at lunchtime, please go and see Miss James at the library who will do her very best to ensure that you are given a quiet working area, even if you haven't got a library ticket.

LOCKER KEYS

All Year 11 students are being asked to empty their lockers and return their keys to school next week when their deposit of £5 will be returned to them before they go on study leave.
