Rescue teams aid search for woman
Tenby and St. Govans Coastguard Rescue Teams assisted Dyfed Powys Police in a search for a woman who had become disorientated as darkness fell whilst walking her dogs at Stackpole shortly before 6 pm on Tuesday, January 13.
The woman, believed to be from the Pembroke area, was located by a police dog handler, assessed at the scene by RAF paramedics, released and taken home by police officers.
Stranded seal
Terry Leadbetter from West Wales Seal Rescue was tasked to a seal reported stranded near to the road at Amroth shortly before 9.30 am last Thursday. The seal was coaxed back into the sea.
Yacht
broke its moorings
Milford Haven Coastguard took a call from a member of the public reporting a yacht that had broken its mooring shortly before 10.30 am last Thursday. Enquiries were made to the Lawrenny Yacht Club, who confirmed that they were aware of the vessel and had informed the owner who would retrieve it the following Sunday.
