Missing boy found safe and well
An eight-year-old boy was reported missing on Tenby's Castle Beach on Saturday afternoon. Coastguards from the town attended the scene at approximately 3.45 pm, but on arrival, the youngster, who was from London, had been found safe and well and had been reunited with his parents.

Extensive search
An extensive search involving lifeguards, beach wardens and coastguards was launched on Sunday afternoon after an 11-year-old boy disappeared on Saundersfoot beach. He was, however, located by one of the beach wardens throwing stones into a rock pool near The Glen end of the beach. Later that afternoon, the Tenby coastguard team returned to the beach to help look for a 12-year-old boy who had gone missing, but on their arrival, the team were informed he had also been found safe and well.
Girl injured
Coastguards assisted paramedics in evacuating a 13-year-old girl from Tenby's Castle Beach on Sunday afternoon after she sustained a badly cut ankle. The teenager, who was from Caerphilly, had cut herself after falling on rocks. She managed to get to the steps leading to the bandstand, before summoning the assistance of the beach lifeguards, who alerted the emergency services at approximately 3.15 pm. She was conveyed by ambulance to Tenby Cottage Hospital for treatment.
Towed to safety
A pleasure craft which had broken down with engine failure while fishing off Giltar Point on Sunday afternoon was towed to safety by Tenby's inshore lifeboat.
Wheeled away
A child's mountain bike with a black seat was stolen from the front garden of a property in Knowling Mead, Tenby. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the town's police station on 842303.
Pictures stolen
Sometime between 11 am and 3.40 pm last Wednesday, approximately 15 pencil sketch print posters of the pop group 'Busted' were stolen from the Tenby Picture Gallery Shop, Bath House, Upper Frog Street, Tenby. The faces of the three band members were on the prints which were in their individual 'Jonathan Wood' transparent sleeve packaging. Criminal damage
Police are investigating three incidents of criminal damage which occurred at Kiln Park, Tenby, during the early hours of Sunday morning. Damage was caused to the window of a sales caravan parked at the entrance to the site, while two vehicles, a Renault Clio and a Vauxhall Corsa, had their windscreens smashed. Bike incident
Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of criminal damage on Tenby's Esplanade. During the early hours of Saturday morning, a 100cc scooter which was chained to a post. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the town's police station on 842303.
Drink-drive arrest
A motorist was arrested at approximately 1.45 pm on Saturday after a report of a vehicle being driven erratically between Penally and Lydstep. He allegedly provided a positive roadside breath test and was subsequently charged with the offence and bailed to appear at Haverfordwest magistrates court.
Witnesses sought
Witnesses are being sought to an incident whereby a bag was taken from a 12-year-old boy in the Harbour area of Tenby at approximately 9 pm on Sunday. The male suspect is aged between 17 and 25 years and is described as tall and tanned with short dark hair. He was wearing a red top and red shorts. Police seek man
Police in Tenby are anxious to speak to a male person who was seen walking out of the front door of the Buccaneer public house in St. Julian Street, at approximately 9.30 am last Friday morning. Officers believe the man may be a witness to an incident at the pub. He is described as 50 to 60 years of age, white, five-foot 11 tall and was of slim build with greying hair. He was wearing a cream or karki coloured jacket and dark trousers. He was last seen walking down St. Julian Street towards the Harbour. Fishing theft
Two 'Fun Sport' junior fishing sets were taken from outside Evans Newsagents, Cambrian Terrace, Saundersfoot, at approximately 1 pm on Monday, July 26. The male offender, of approximately teenage age, made off on a mountain pedal cycle and was accompanied by another male about the same age, also on a bike. The two fishing sets were subsequently recovered, but police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them at Tenby police station on 842303.
Man arrested
A man from the South Wales area was arrested on Saturday after damage was caused to a bus at Butts Field car park, Tenby. Damage was also caused to a window of the toilet block. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the police station on 842303.
Snapped up!
Sometime between 12 noon and 5 pm on Saturday, a camera was stolen from the Croft Steps leading to Tenby's North Beach. Anyone with any information is asked to contact WPC Kelly at the town's police station on 842303.
Rubbish fire
Firefighters from Narberth extinguished a rubbish fire on the Town Moor at approximately 3 am on Sunday morning
Grass blaze
A grass fire at 5 Nine Acres, Broadway, Laugharne, on Sunday morning, was put out by firefighters from Whitland.
Penally burglary
Sometime between 4 and 5 am on Sunday, a burglary occurred at a ground floor flat at Fern House, Penally Road, Tenby. Any person who may have seen anything suspicious or has any information is asked to contact Tenby police or DC Andrew Couzens on 842303.
Properties entered
Police at Tenby are investigating two burglaries which have occurred in the Whitlow area of Saundersfoot. The burglaries were committed sometime on Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Cash was taken from the first premises, and approximately four 'Lladro' china ornaments were stolen from the second premises. Both premises were unoccupied at the time. Police are asking for information that may lead to the arrest of the offender/s and the recovery of stolen property. Police would also like to speak to any local residents who may have had any suspicious callers recently, or witnessed any suspicious behaviour.
Door damaged
Damage was caused to the wooden front door of the Old Chemist Inn, The Strand, Saundersfoot, sometime after closing time on Thursday, when an attempt was made to set fire to it. Anyone with any information is asked to contact WPC Kelly at Tenby police station on 842303.
Chip van fire
Firefighters from Tenby used a foam jet to extinguish a fire at the chip van at Priory Farm Shop, New Hedges, just after 3.30 pm on Monday.
