The children of Tenby VC Infant School enjoyed a talk on the wildlife of Australia and New Zealand, given by Mrs. Denny Pitman.
Mrs. Pitman, a cook at the school, recently returned from Australia after a two-month holiday, where for a time she had lived with the Aborigines.
She showed the children many of the items they made especially for her.
The children then enjoyed a video looking at some of the wildlife in Australia and New Zealand. One of the many things they learnt was that Koala Bears have a ridge on their backs and flat noses to allow them to stay secure in the tree with their noses pressed into the branch while they sleep.

TEDDY BEARS PICNIC
Year 1 of Tenby Infants spent a lovely afternoon at a teddy bear's picnic. Each of the teddies had to come in their best party clothes and were judged by Mrs. John. The winning teddies were: Madison Vickery and Jordan Cornick 1JR; Georgia Poole and Nicholas Allen 1R; Ella Harley DC.
