St. Teilo's Church, Tenby, was packed to capacity on Sunday, May 17, as nine children made their first Holy Communion.

Olivier Tomp, Megan Bridges, Keiran Johnson, Leo Zenato, Kai Fecci, Elliott Wherrett, Zac Rowell, David Castro and Colm Tobin had been preparing for this special day with teachers Mrs. Conbeer or Mrs. Thornton since September.

The Mass was celebrated by parish priest Father Owen McGreal, with the school choir, readings and prayers by children and parents, all contributing to a beautiful service which was shared and enjoyed by family, friends, teachers and parishioners.

CHORISTERS 'MADE UP'

Brothers Ieuan and Geraint James, of St. Teilo's School, were 'made up' as choristers at St. David's Cathedral recently. They are no longer probationers and receive a pay increase! Ieuan though, a veteran chorister, had previously been 'made up' at Romsey Abbey in Hampshire. Congratulations to them both.
