Raised garden beds have recently been constructed in the school grounds. Each class has been given its own raised bed to look after and grow the plants of their choice. This term, they will be concentrating on growing seeds and plants which they can eventually harvest and eat. These include runner beans, broad beans, courgettes, tomatoes, strawberries and lettuce. Sunflowers, sweet peas and nasturtium plants are also being grown.

A very special thank you goes to Scourfields, of Carew Quarries, who very kindly donated all the stone used to construct the paths leading to the raised beds and also to the large play equipment.
