JAPAN COMES TO ST. OSWALD'S

On January 14, Yorika Mae came to visit us at St. Oswald's School, Jeffreyston (writes Jayde Phillips and Megan Jenkins).

Miss Mae told Class 5 about landmarks and the bullet train. She told us about the bomb that America sent. One building is still standing today and the other buildings have been repaired.

Miss Mae brought some costumes and we tried them on. The boys put on a shirt and the girls a kimono; some pupils put on sandals. She also brought a map of Japan and showed us her home town.

Miss Mae came from Japan four years ago to work in Haverfordwest College. We would like to thank her very much.

BT VISIT

On Friday, January 18, BT came to put a show on for us all about 'Respect'. The Muddles didn't respect each other, but the Crystals were good and listened to what their family member had to say.

We all learnt how to speak properly in a conversation. We all enjoyed the show and workshop very much.
