Children's book illustrator Suzanne Carpenter visited Sageston School to work with Classes 3 and 5 on her book 'Here Comes Cadi'. She visited the school because Sageston is taking part in the Read A Million Words In Wales scheme.
Year 6 pupils recently visited Colby Woodland Gardens, while environmental work was carried out at Sageston School following their visit.
To improve bilingualism, the school has introduced a scheme whereby all staff members give their Tocyn Iaith to any pupil who impresses them with their use of Welsh throughout the week.
