Narberth CP School choir took part in the annual christingle service at St. Andrew's Church recently.
A number of pupils attended the service and each one was presented with a christingle.
A very enjoyable Welsh pantomime, 'Jac a'r Goeden Ffa', was watched by pupils from Years 1 - 6 in Dosbarthiadau Grawnwin, Mefus, Afal, Oren a Pinafal.
Four pupils, Talfan, Rhiannon, Esme and Kieran recently attended a maths challenge day at Ysgol Dyffryn Tâf.
At Narberth Winter Carnival, the school choir once again entertained visitors to the town.
All Year 1 - 6 pupils travelled to the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven and enjoyed the pantomime 'The Christmas Cuckoo's Cooking'.
In conjunction with Pembrokeshire County Council's road safety unit, most of the year groups participated in the Small Steps Project to reinforce safety strategies.
A very successful Christmas bazaar was organised by Ffrindiau Ysgol Arberth. There were lots of stalls, games, raffles etc. and the proceeds of the evening will help pay for trips and events during the year.
Two carol services were held at Bethesda Church in Narberth where every class participated in Christmas songs, carols, instrumental items and readings.
Rev. C. Rees relayed a Christmas message and Mrs. June John was the organist. Both services were well-attended.
Staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the delicious Christmas dinner prepared by the kitchen staff.
An enjoyable morning of singing Christmas songs was spent, with Mrs. Sarah Benbow leading.
This year again, pupils had great fun watching and joining in with two shows delivered by Loopy Lews and Philip Jones, the magician.
Leading up to Christmas, pupils and staff dressed up for a day in a 'Christmas theme'. A total of £200 was raised and this will go towards the 2013 Urdd Eisteddfod Appeal.
The school choir entertained the residents at Sunnybank and Bloomfield with carols and instrumental items. During the visit, pupils presented cheques to them for £100 each, from the proceeds of the Harvest Festival.
To finish the Christmas celebrations, Ffrindiau Ysgol Arberth prepared delicious parties for all the pupils. Santa also visited his grotto and distributed gifts for the children.
Staff and pupils would like to thank everyone for their support throughout the year and wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy New Year/Nadloig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
Anti-Bullying Week
This was held recently and during the week every child took part in a competition to promote the importance of anti-bullying. The younger children had to draw what they thought a bully would look like, while the older pupils designed an anti-bullying poster.
