As has become tradition in recent times, thousands of revellers packed in to Tenby's Tudor Square on Saturday night to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. As can be seen from the photographs on this page, many of them also entered into the spirit of the occasion by turning out in a colourful array of fancy dress. As the clock struck midnight to herald 2012, a magnificent fireworks display lit up the night sky, while a netful of balloons was released in the air above the crowd.
