A new chapter in the life of the HCF will begin this Sunday as they hold their first public meeting in a new Tenby venue.
The fellowship had stopped holding public meetings at the beginning of this year in order to take time to pray about the future.
The time out has brought many different benefits, enabling members to join in worship with different groups and make new friends, and to assist in preaching, leading worship, praying with people, making tea and washing up in several churches.
Prayer and Bible study in homes has continued, and there have been many answers to prayer.
The Pastor, Rev. Peter Richmond, said: "A great joy in this time, a real gift from God, has been our relationship with the Lighthouse Fellowship, Milford Haven, and Emmanuel Gospel Church, Manorbier. We are really thrilled to have some of these friends along with the Pastors, David Kramer and Jonathan Fiddy, joining us for our first service in Tenby."
Starting this Sunday, public services will be held in Carringtons Restaurant, under the Atlantic Hotel, at 4.15 pm. There are special reasons for such an unusual time.
One is that members will be able to continue helping in other fellowships. This could be part of something new in church life, seeing small groups working together instead of trying to cover everything on their own.
Another reason is that the Pastor believes that God wants Hesed to make special provision for the elderly, many of whom might appreciate a time which allows them to get home before it is too cold and dark.
"The last thing we want to do is to take people who already belong to a church out of their fellowships," he said, "but if anyone would benefit from an extra service or has time to support us we would love to see them."
In other ways the usual Hesed traditions will continue. Visitors can expect sound Biblical teaching, and the service will be reverent, but informal. Refreshments will follow to give people time to get to know each other.
