Open every day during the week and on Saturdays, Truly Scrumptious boasts a wide ranging menu featuring tasty snacks to take away.
Nicola makes a whole host of sandwiches, rolls and baguettes to order, and customers can choose from an extensive selection of freshly made fillings, home-cooked meats, plus all the trimmings to go inside them.
As well as all the traditional fillings you would expect, Nicola also makes a selection of exotic ingredients which customers can enjoy in their rolls or baguettes.
"If a customer would like a particular filling that I haven't got, then I will do my best to make it," commented Nicola, whose daughter Ruby came up with the idea for the name of the shop.
In addition, salad boxes, coleslaws, quiches, sausage rolls, crisps and soft drinks are also available, as well as teas and coffees to take away.
Jacket potatoes and toasties, again with a choice of fillings, are also made to order.
What's more, Nicola plans to extend her menu even further and will be adding to her selection of vegetarian fillings.
"We have been exceptionally busy since opening and people have been impressed with our friendly service, generous helpings and value for money prices," Nicola said.
"I have received lots of good wishes from people and have even had strangers popping their heads around the door to wish me well, which has been really lovely," she continued.
"I have had a great deal of help and support in opening Truly Scrumptious and I would particularly like to thank my mum and dad, my brothers David and Simon, who have fitted out the shop, Lesley for designing the flyers and Gemma for helping me out in the shop," she said.
"I really do enjoy meeting people and to open my own business is like a dream come true. I have got plenty of ideas to develop the business further and am really looking forward to meeting and getting to know my customers."

Truly Scrumptious is open Monday to Saturday from 9.30 am until 4.30 pm.
