NARBERTH town and county councillor Wynne Evans has recently been appointed to the board of management at the Wales Co-operative Centre based in Cardiff, where he will represent a number of local authorities across Wales. "I'm looking forward to this new role," he said. "It will mean, however, that I will be away from Narberth more than I would like, but I will be increasing my various residents' surgeries to be more flexible. "The position means I will be travelling to all regions of the country, as the Wales co-op deals with many aspects of life within Wales, such as farming, community programmes and business developments. "I have already attended board of management meetings in Cardiff, and the summer looks like being a busy time for me and my colleagues."
