The new Brynmor Evans Resource Centre at Bloomfield, Narberth, was officially opened on Friday by Brynmor's widow, Mrs. Mollie Evans. The evening was a great success, with 80 people attending a night to remember Mr. Evans, who was one of the founder members of the Bloomfield House Community Centre committee and the chair for many years. Entertainment was provided by the 'On your Toes' School of Dancing, children who study woodwind instruments with John McGarry at the Centre and Elaina Hoss, who works in the Centre's After School Club. Cheese and wine, provided by local companies, was then enjoyed in the Seminar Room, one of the main attractions of the new Resource Centre.
