Who is Jesus? Some say he was a good man, others say he did not exist, while many simply know his name as a swear word. In his human lifetime he was called a blasphemer, a friend of sinners, a teacher, and a miracle worker. A close follower of Jesus, Peter, said Jesus was the long-awaited Saviour of the human race, the Son of God.
Christians today agree with Peter, believing Jesus's life was love personified. The perfect human being who existed with God before all time, who chose to come to earth to take the punishment for the wrongs of the people that he loves. He is not a distant entity, but he can be with us where we are right now, with his everlasting love.
Jesus says: "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me; I am the light of the world; I am the good shepherd; I am the son of God; I and the Father are one."
