Would you like to know how to protect your home from flooding?

A Flood Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 5, to raise awareness of how you can minimise the risk of flooding to your property, and what action to take if it does happen.

The free event will take place at the Withybush Showground Pavilion at 12.30 pm and is open to all householders, businesses, and local councillors.

It is being run by Pembrokeshire County Council, the Environment Agency and other partner agencies.

The event will include presentations from various organisations on what can be done to mitigate the risks of flooding.

A range of flood defence products will also be exhibited, which may be of use to residents and businesses.

Residents whose home is located within an area serviced by the Environment Agency' Flood Warnings are encouraged to attend.

To find out if your property is in such an area, you can check online at http://www.environment-agency.gov.uk">www.environment-agency.gov.uk and follow links to 'am I at risk of flooding?'
