Tenby Boxing Day Swim has welcomed independent financial planners, Harbour Wealth Limited, on board as a new sponsor.

The company, based in Lower Park Road, Tenby, has pledged £300 towards the running of the top Yuletide event.

Said director Chris Brace: “It’s our pleasure to support the best charity swim in Pembrokeshire - if not the UK - over the festive period.”

The swim, now in its 47th year, is organised by the Tenby Sea Swimming Association (TSSA), whose chairman, Chris Osborne, said: “We’re delighted that Harbour Wealth is joining our event sponsors this year, and look forward to a long association with this local company.

The swim takes place on Tenby’s North Beach on December 26, with fun on the beach and the water getting under way at 11 am.

This year’s fancy dress theme is Comic Characters.

The two charities nominated by TSSA this year are PATCH and the Harriet Davis Trust.
