Councillors in Tenby have congratulated neighbouring seaside resort Saundersfoot for being named in the prestigious Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Live’ in the UK list published recently.
The Pembrokeshire village made the top 10 list featuring the top Welsh locations to reside.
Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of Tenby Town Council, the Deputy Mayor, Clr. Christine Brown, told her colleagues that it would be a nice touch to send Saundersfoot Community Council a letter of congratulations.
“It’s a lovely achievement for a village the size of Saundersfoot,” she said.
The Pembrokeshire coast also picked up BBC Countryfile Magazine’s ‘Holiday Destination of the Year 2018’, recently, with the county beating off competition from the likes of the Isle of Wight, to claim the coveted accolade.
